Workout Wednesday – Time For Legs!

This morning I completed a quick lower body workout before a walk outdoors for cardio. Man were my legs on fire! I ended up tweaking the recipe for my post workout shake today by adding a few drops of doTERRA’s lime essential oil. So refreshing! I love being able to incorporate essential oils into my clean eating.

Part 1:

15x split squat

15x calf raises

15x hamstring curls with weight

15x hip thrusts with weights

45 second wall sit (+15 seconds each set)

Rest 30 seconds. Repeat for a total of 3 sets

Part 2:

20x squats

20x sumo squats

20x side leg raises (each side)

20x leg extensions

20x side leg extensions

20x donkey kicks (each side)

Rest 30 seconds. Repeat for a total of 3 sets

P.S. Always remember to focus on the mind muscle connection. Take each rep nice and slow to isolate the muscles you’re working on!
